Episode 21: 11 Minutes - Germanwings Flight 9525

Airline safety has evolved in many ways over the years, and particularly since 9/11, keeping the bad guy from taking control of an airplane has been paramount.  But what if the bad guy is already inside the cockpit?

On March 24, 2015 Germanwings Flight 9525 was scheduled to fly from Barcelona to Dusseldorf. 30 minutes into the flight, the aircraft began to descend rapidly without approval from air traffic control. For 11 minutes, 150 people on board realized that they would not survive.
